Provenance 1.4 - New cores provided by Mednafen (Playstation, PC-Engine, NeoGeo, and others)

It's been a long while since the last real release for Provenance - almost a year.

I'm pleased to say today that we have a new release: Provenance 1.4 

This release wouldn't be possible with the hard work done by Joe Mattiello, Leo LobatoJay Mattis and all the other contributors.

This release contains:

  • Neo Geo Pocket / Neo Geo Pocket Color
  • PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 (CD)
  • SuperGrafx
  • PC-FX

  • Importer improvements (7z support, MD5 matching and performance improvements)

Prebuilt Provenance IPAs

Today I'm trying something new.

I tend to get a lot of support messages regarding building and installing Provenance. Some people are unfamiliar with Xcode and don't know how to build the app, even when following instructions. Others don't have access to a Mac and can't use Xcode to build.

So today I'm making available prebuilt IPAs of Provenance for iOS and tvOS.

I'm not exactly sure how successful this will be. They're signed using my developer profiles, so they will still need to be resigned using as tool such as Cydia Impactor, or some other re-signing tool before they can be installed.

So let me know if this is something I should continue, or if you run into any problems.
